The name Neckar Valley is based on the region where I was born and raised, in Germany, and where I found my passion for construction in the local architecture. When my family first arrived in Canada from Germany, my father started a roofing company with his 2 teenage sons, my brother and myself. It was a rough start with very little to no language skills, and we made up for it in work ethic. As I continued to learn more about construction and building science I realized i could not help myself but to assess or "Inspect" every building I approached and every room I entered. And within realizing I was doing this, I knew then, that I wanted to be a certified home inspector. Having an extensive construction background makes me a better inspector, a cut above the rest, and in the process of becoming certified as a home inspector, I have realized it has made me a better contractor as well. My father has since retired and returned to Europe, where he settled into a homestead in a more comfortable winter climate. Canada is my chosen home, where I raise my family and like to help people make informed choices when it comes to their homes.
