Looking beyond the drywall, my infrared camera is always with me, on every job. An Infrared camera can find problems that aren't always visible to the naked eye, by translating heat signatures into colours on a gradient scale. By evaluating the images I am able to detect sources of energy loss, locate areas of moisture intrusion and potentially dangerous hot spots in your electrical system. This however does not allow anyone to look through walls, thermal imaging strictly detects differences in surface temperature.
